The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a church of service. Members, out of their love for the Lord, dedicate part of their time they could be using for other activities to help edify the people in their communities though service in the church. It's a way to become more Christ like as we think about the needs of people near us, and then as we act on those promtings to serve. Show more Show less
