Hi I'm Tapie

I love snowboarding, backpacking, the outdoors and learning new things. I am a husband and father and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father of 4 kids and have a wonderful wife. I grew up in Southern California loving the beach, snowboarding and cant wait to teach my kids how to get out and have fun in the snow and get in the waves. I have lived in different parts of the world and enjoyed experiencing many of the wonderful thing that are shrinking world has to offer. I love backpacking, scuba diving, and simply living life to the fullest and experiencing it with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be taught about Christ and his church at an early age. As I grew older I learned to recognize how the Holy Spirit teaches and works and was able to recognize that the Spirit constantly taught me that the messages and lessons I was hearing were true. I also looked at my life and could see the fruits of the spirit in my life and the joy and happiness that I had were a result of the teachings of Christ I was trying to live. To me Mormonism is my lifestyle its who I am and what I am proud to be a part of. I simply cant deny the blessing or joy it has brought me and hope others experience the same.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. For example I believe that families are essential to God's plan for us. My wife and I are proud parents and love each and every child. They continually teach me new things and bring smiles to my face. My faith brings me a host of friends and brothers and sisters around the world and no matter where I go when on business or vacation I can walk into a church and be at home and find people that I can connect with. In addition I believe it is important to help and serve others. My faith gives me the opportunity to lead service projects for the church and that benefits the community. It helps me find ways to meet new people and teaches that we should be friends and neighbors to everyone.
