Hi I'm Katee

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I play the oboe, english horn, piano and organ. I swim and play water polo. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play 4 instruments the piano, organ, oboe, and english horn. I like to read and write. I play water polo and I swim. I am working on getting into a nursing school to get my Register Nurse. I have a plebotomy degree and I work as a CNA.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with two loving parents who were raised as Mormons. I always knew that I was expected to go to church and I enjoyed going. When I graduated from High School and moved away from home it then became my choice if I wanted to go to church and continue to live my beliefs. I made the decision that I should attend and followed in my families footsteps in continuing on in my faith and beleif. I'm a Mormon because I choose to be and because I believe.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is very personal to me. I believe that to live my faith I need to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. He truly showed the way for us to be able to live. And so how I live my life is based on his example. It means that I try my hardest to be able to love my neighbors, to serve others, to follow the commandments of God, to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everybody, and to do God's will in every aspect of my life. Now am I perfect at this? Nope. But I know that Jesus Christ died and suffered for me so that each day I can become a little better. The center of my faith is Jesus Christ and the knowladge that with his atonement each day I can become closer with our Heavenly Father and eventually return to live with him again. So how do I live my faith? I live it one day at a time knowing that Heavenly Father has something great in store for me the next day. I have served in many callings I have been on a music committee to help prepare the music for Sunday meetings. I have taught in the womens organization of the Church as a teacher which has been when of my favorite callings because I get to strengthen my testimony and others testimony in Gospel Principles. I have a calling now where I am teaching everyone about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it's amazing to see lives change as they come to understand the atonement of our Savior and make changes in there life each day.
