Hi I'm Steve Osborn

I grew up in Salt Lake City and now live in sunny Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a below the knee amputee for 23 years after losing my leg by being run over by a boat after I fell on a water ski when I was fourteen. I Love being a Father of one daughter and three sons. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife and family. I enjoy being an active amputee from basketball to cycling to dirt bike riding.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me a peace in my life that I believe you can't find anywhere else. Learning and studying Jesus Christ life and teachings are an example to me that brings me comfort. I believe we can become better individuals through serving others and learning that our Savior loves us each individually and has an eternal plan for us all. When I lost my leg I felt a Spirit preserve my life when I should not have lived. It was confirmed to me it was the spirit of my Savior Jesus Christ. I knew that his gospel had been restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. There is no greater peace on earth to have the knowledge that we all have a plan created by Heavenly Father to return to him and have our families be together forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always working on trying to have a sincere caring for other people, and to Love and follow my Savior with all my heart, might, mind and soul. I strive to adhere to principle of honesty and integrity in all aspects of my life. I enjoy teaching the 14-16 year old age group about how satan will try to lead them down a path of personal destruction. I enjoy showing them the wonderful blessings of peace and serenity you can achieve through living righteously.
