Hi I'm Natalie

I am 1out of 12 children. I am a bridal consultant. I am an aspiring dental hygienist. I love to Latin dance and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student working hard towards my goal of becoming a dental hygienist. When I am not studying science or sociology which are my favorite subjects I am at dance class, at the gym or playing the piano. I am in a Latin dance and a Hip hop class at my college. I have danced my whole life and have such a passion for all types of dance. I have been furthering my talent of piano since I was seven years old and recently started piano lessons again. I love the outdoors. I love to hike, fish, and camp and go shooting in the desert. I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes four years ago and then a year later with Celiac Disease. Celiac is where I can not have flour, I am allergic to it, therefore finding things to eat at first was tough but I have grown to love baking and cooking. Give me any recipe and I will make it gluten free. I just recently got hired as a bridal consultant; this has been my dream job since I was little girl. This gospel brings so much joy and happiness into my life and I am so happy I can have it to share with others.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought so much joy and peace to my life throughout the years. Like any one else on this earth I have had trials, my main trial as been with my health and through the atonement of Jesus Christ I know that my body will be perfected in the life to come. I know that there is a Heavenly Father I can pray to who will comfort me and give me the answers I need to hear. The Temples that we have on this earth humble me and help me to want to enter in the doors to get married one day to a young man my Heavenly Father is preparing for me. The prophets and apostles council that is given to this church is true and can help guide my every footstep if I but obey the commandments that have been given me. The words from the Book of Mormon allow me to expand my knowledge of this gospel and help me to grow in areas where I need the most help. I am so grateful for the missionary work that is on the earth. It is through missionary work that I am here. My mother got baptized when she was twenty one and met my dad and had me and my twelve siblings and because of their righteousness my family and I can share the blessing of exaltation together.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has so many opportunities for the members to serve others through callings, home teaching and visiting teaching. Once a month my companion and I go to two sisters homes and teach a lesson and just talk about their needs and desires. I love to visit teach because it helps me gain a close relationship with those who I may not know. Once a week I try to attend the Mesa, Arizona Temple to feel of the spirit it has there and to be able to ponder and think about my life and the things going on during that week. I am apart of the family home evening committee in my ward where the whole ward gets together to share a spiritual lesson and do an activity. Family home evening is a fun way to get closer to the members in the ward. I attend institute twice a week to learn of the Old Testament and the truthfulness of this gospel. In Joshua 1:9 the Lord is speaking to Joshua and says, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest." I know that the Lord has given me commandments to follow and if I obey I know that he will keep his promise to me and be with me in all that I need of him. I know that this gospel is true and I am thankful for it's truthfulness in my life.
