Hi I'm Rachel Elizabeth Ingo

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona, but now claim New Mexico as my home. I'm currently studying genetics at New Mexico State University. My family and friends rank as number one in my heart and mind. Between weightlifting, hiking, and the occasional horse-back ride, music brings me the most happiness. My name is Rachel. I'm a dreamer, an aspiring yogi, ice cream lover, a future missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

The Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life and even saved it. I know the Atonement works - it's not just a fairytale. Jesus is the Christ. His love is infinite. His Atonement can change our very nature. Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God to usher in the Restoration of Christ's gospel. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, given to man to convince them of the reality of a Savior. Most importantly, I know this knowledge will never be taken from the Earth again. The world is so much more colorful because I know this to be true. This life is a quest for truth, and I've found an overflowing source of truth because of the simple words in the scriptures and in the real experiences and experiments I've had with the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I will be serving an 18 month mission in Cleveland, Ohio. I'll be reporting to the Provo Missionary Training Center in 7 days (which feels like a lot longer than it sounds).
