Hi I'm Nate

I love my wife. I enjoy sports, books, and movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student studying Business with hopes of working in the NBA. In my free time I love spending time with my wife, reading books, and playing games. I currently work at a Credit Union helping people get mortgages. My greatest desire is to have a big family and a job that allows my wife to stay home and raise our children. (We have none as of now) I also love snowboarding, basketball, watching football and most other sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church, many generations of my family on both sides have been members. I solidified my testimony before I served my mission in Cape Town South Africa. I knew that before I decided to serve, I had to know the church was true. After completing the Book of Mormon I prayed to Heavenly Father, telling Him that if he would show me if the book was true, that I would faithfully and gladly serve a mission for Him. That was the moment that I knew without a doubt the Book of Mormon was true, as the Holy Spirit witnessed to me that what I had read was the truth. From that I also knew without a doubt that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, that God revealed the Book of Mormon through him, and that this church is true. Meaning, that it is the Church of Jesus Christ, and that Heavenly Father and Christ lead this church through a prophet, Thomas S Monson, and that only this church has the necessary authority to perform the ordinances that we need to return to live with God and Christ. Most importantly, at that moment I knew without a doubt that Christ lives, that He died for my sins, and that through his Atonement, I will be able to live with God, Christ, and my family, for eternity.

How I live my faith

I enjoy volunteering for various service projects that may arise. For example, cleaning the church building, helping members move in or out, helping prepare food for ward social events, rake leaves, and shovel snow. I have also taught various classes including young men.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

They will talk about how Jesus is your Savior and how he has restored, or brought back, His gospel to the Earth. This gospel includes all the necessary steps you need to take to ensure that you and your family live together forever, with God and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
