Hi I'm Jamisen

I grew up in Utah; I love sports; I'm serving a mission in Albania; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a small family of five. Yes, we have those times of trial and error, but we're always there for each other to lean on. I graduated high school about a year and a half ago. After that I went to college and worked for about a year. I now have the honor to serve as a missionary in the Adriatic South mission which includes countries Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Macedonia. I love to just hang out with my friends and mostly play sports whenever the opportunity arises. Basketball and football are the best. When I play, I feel like I don't have to stress about other things in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. My parents decided it would be a great opportunity for us, their kids, to have. I am so grateful for that. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has blessed my life tremendously! I feel love and peace when I follow Christ's example. I continue to follow His gospel because it feels like the right thing to do. When I attend Church on Sunday or various other Church activities, I feel happier. I feel a different feeling come over me that is unlike any other. I feel Christ's love for me when I do what is right.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm serving the Lord in Albania, which is honestly the best thing someone could do! It's a great way to serve your fellow man as well as your God-to share with others the joy you have. I'm so grateful to share this wonderful Gospel with others around the world, to spread the Gospel word. Before I received my mission call, I served as a teacher at church, during a period called Sunday School. I taught with a fellow teacher and we taught a group of youth every Sunday. I am grateful for that, because it has prepared me to teach others.
