Hi I'm Olya

I live in Ukraine, I'm a Mormon and I'm proud of both these facts!

About Me

I recently got married. My husband is also Mormon and we're very happy together. I will graduate from the university in a couple of months. I work as an interpreter of English language. I finished music school and I like to play the piano. I also really like to dance and I've attended many different dance schools. I enjoy traveling and I have seem many wonderful places of the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 11 years old. My grandmother brought me to the Church. At first I didn't understand much as I still was a child but I liked the feelings that I had at the Church. As I grew older my faith became stronger and my knowledge that this Church is true increased. The faith in Jesus Christ gives me hope, it helps me to understand the purpose of life, why I'm here, what will happen after this life, what will happen to the people whom I love most of all - my family, friends. This Church teaches very correct and important principles about families, personal perfection, healthy way of life and what is most important - that Jesus Christ lives and He loves us and that He is the Redeemer of all our sins that through Him we will be able to get back to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I got married with my husband in a Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. We believe that families can be together forever so only through the Temple ordinances the generations can be united and we will be able to meet with our relatives and members of the family again. I am a teacher of the class which is attended by the guests of the Church, the visitors and by the new members of the Church who got baptized less than a year ago. I teach them the basic laws of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also am responsible for the activities for all the women who are older than 18 years old. I really love serving them and helping them with their needs. I really like the program of visiting sisters and I try to follow it regularly. By this program I have a privilege to visit some of the sisters at their homes, me and my companion prepare a short spiritual lesson and then just communicate with the sisters, try to help them with their needs, answer their questions, share the experiences of each other and just have good time
