Hi I'm Chelsea

I am a sixth generation Atlantian. I am a southern girl who loves pearls, my sewing machine, and my husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Texas with my husband. I love crafting, creating, and making something beautiful. Cooking is my passion and I love being in the kitchen. I am a student studying psychology during the day, and a wife in the evenings. My husband is my rock and I love nothing more than being Mrs. C. My husband and I laugh daily together, and our home is always full of love and laughter. I love having friends and family over for dinner and feeding them until they can eat no more. We love to go on adventures and trying new things. We LOVE food and trying new places. We hope to expand our family one day through adoption. We want a house full of noises of little foot steps and cute little giggles. We are preparing for the day when we are blessed to become parents, but until then we are enjoying our little family of two.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with being born into a family where the gospel was already a part of their lives. I am the youngest child of three. I always knew the gospel was true because my loved ones always told me it was. But I had to go through my own trials to learn for myself the truthfulness of the gospel. My testimony has been tested through every trial I have gone through and I am always stronger than before. I am an ongoing diamond in the rough. I know of the power of prayer, tithing, and fasting. I know that when I am obedient I will be blessed and happier. I know there are things I am not perfect in and I accept that. I continually try to do my best and I know that Heavenly Father will help me make up the rest. I remember hearing stories of married couples having $1 in their bank accounts and wondering how they are going to eat for the next week. I always thought they were making it up or exaggerating to make a story better. But I quickly learned in married life that they were not. There have been times in our marriage when WE were the ones who had a $1 to our names and payday was a week away. I would go to the mailbox and we were having a very belated wedding check in the mail. I was quickly humbled and my testimony on paying tithing was strengthened again. I know that Heavenly Father knows each of His children and their needs and desires. If we let Him, He will be there with open arms to help us.

How I live my faith

I believe a smile can change somebody's day. I always try to remember that we are all children of God, and that everybody has different struggles and weaknesses. We are given our trials because God knows that we are strong enough to handle them with His help. Everybody is given different struggles, and we can never judge a stranger because we simply do not understand what they are going through. I try my best to be the best person that I can be. I try to help people out in whatever way I can even if it's just a smile. I enjoy hearing people's stories and learning from them. I believe in the "Golden Rule" of do unto others as thou would do unto you. I believe in paying it forward. I know that charity is the pure love of Christ. I know that serving people helps me to understand people and to love them the best I can do.
