Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am lucky enough to be married to a fabulous woman who is also my best friend. I am blessed to be the father to four wonderful children. I strive every day to worthy of the blessings that I have been given. The unimportant stuff, I live in Washington but not the green part with trees. (East of the Cascades) I am a bonafide board game geek. When it is not nice outside, I like to play games with my family and friends. When it is nice outside, I enjoy mountain climbing, rock climbing, hunting, fishing, and backpacking. Lastly I pay the bills as an Architect.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well the answer is that I have found that longer I am acquainted with this life the less satisfied I am with it. There are so many unnecessary self inflicted pains and sorrows that this cannot all just be happenstance. Therefore, I believe there is a God and I am positive that if God just wanted minions to worship him into oblivion that he would not put his creations though this life. This life and its experiences mean something more than just a chance to be in the cheering section.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to remember that this life is practice, and that I have to practice my faith every day because I am not perfect. That there is a God that wants me to succeed and be better that I am today. That those around me; however annoying or hateful are still my brothers and sisters and they deserve my patience and I theirs. I live my faith, by remembering that no matter how many times I fail at it, it does not matter. What matters, is that I have the faith to stand up and try again, knowing that my shortcomings have been made whole by a Savior who has already paid the price for my success.
