Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mom & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom and love spending time with my little girl! I have the most amazing husband in the whole world! While he's busy at law school we like to go jogging, visit the library and go to park with friends. While my daughter is sleeping I love to sew.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings so much joy to my life! I know that my family will be together forever, which is the most important thing to me and brings so much peace to my life. I love the values of the church and being a Mormon has helped me make so many good choices. Knowing that I am a daughter of God gives me some very important perspective. Knowing that my Heavenly Father loves me and that Jesus Christ died for me gives me the courage to make it through difficult times and I know that the trials I've experienced have made me a better and stronger person. The gospel gives me hope, strength, peace & joy! I can't imagine my life without it

How I live my faith

My husband is serving in a congregation of BYU students right now, so we get to attend church with single students. It's very uplifting to see the excitement and strength of the young people of the church- they have such a bright future ahead of them! Even though my husband is serving with the single students we still have the opportunity to participate in activities with the family congregation near our home. I visit teach several sisters who live in my building- I love learning from other young mothers and we have such a fun time together discussing the gospel and our everyday lives. We also have mother's group together once a week and it's been so helpful for me to see these strong courageous mothers on a regular basis! As a family we also attend fun activities organized by the church such as picnics, service activities, talent shows and Christmas dinners & programs. When we lived with our parents in Oregon a few summers back I had the opportunity to teach Sunday School lessons to the 6 year olds. It was very inspiring to see that even young children know that their Heavenly Father loves them.
