Hi I'm Christine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the church. I am a mother of four children, three boys and one girl. I work as an administration assistant for the school district where I live. Because of a divorce later in life, I had the opportunity to go back to school to get my bachelor's degree. I like to scrapbook, do minor home repairs and remodeling, go out to eat, and spend time with my kids and new husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. The Holy Ghost has born witness to me of this. The teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ have brought me great comfort, and peace in times of trial and have given me the strength to endure. The church brings great peace and joy into my life. I have also seen the church's effect in the lives of my children as they have accepted Christ's teachings and lived His commandments. They are happy and at peace. This brings me great joy. I have a testimony of prayer. I know He hears and answers my prayers and that He is aware of ME and the things I am going through. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored Christ's true church on the earth today. I know that we have a true and living prophet on the earth today, Pres. Thomas S. Monson. I know that the plan of salvation was put in place by a loving Heavenly Father who sent His son to live a perfect life, atone for our sins, and then be resurrected so we could have the opportunity to live with Him again. I know the Father wants us to have joy in our lives and that joy comes as we serve and love one another. I love my Savior and Heavenly Father and know they love me too. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the example of the Savior in all that I do. I try to be an example in word and deed. I serve the women in our ward by sharing my testimony of the gospel. I let them know they are loved by our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I pray for them and visit with them on a regular basis. I share with them the teachings of Jesus Christ that they may gain a testimony for themselves and feel of His love for them. I read the word of God in the scriptures and teach them to the women in our ward and my family. I partake of the sacrament each Sunday so I can renew my baptismal covenants and attend the temple to renew covenants made there.
