Hi I'm Mark

I'm a Mormon. Because I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ.

About Me

My wife and I have four children, our first is our only biological child, the other three were adopted through LDS social services. We received all of our children as infants, and each had a different birth mother & birth father but all have an eternal family. I enjoy public speaking, golfing, bowling and being a father. Our oldest daughter gave birth about 18 months ago, she had her first a little boy, she is now with child again, baby number two. I have always thought that nothing could get better then being a Dad but being a grandparent is very close.

Why I am a Mormon

First of all I am a mormon because, I love the Savior Jesus Christ and he loves me and my family. The family should always be first, as a Latter Day Saints I know that we can be together forever as a family and that gives me great comfort. Jesus Christ is the center of my life, what I have been taught throughout my life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints it just that, Jesus Christ is the Savior and redeemer of the world and he is at the head of the Church and communicates through living Prophet's. The heavens are not closed and we are able to receive revelation for our selves and for our families. Families are Forever

How I live my faith

I try to do as the Savior would do. I know that I am being watched by members and non-members to see what I will do. I try to set a good example all the time.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Mark
Tithing It is used to build Temples, Churches, and Schools and to pay for the every day needs of the church. No member serving in there local Ward is paid, the church has a totally unpaid clergy. Even the Prophet of the church is unpaid. The Tithing monies are used to building the kingdom of God hear on earth. Members pay 10 of thier increase as tithing, they are not forced to pay, it is 100 voluntary, for me it is a pleasure to give and know that my money goes to helping others. Show more Show less
