Hi I'm Robbie

I grew up in Alabama. I'm a husband and father of five. I enjoy SEC football and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husban, father, attorney, golfer, and tough mudder. I am a mormon. I have a wife that I love and five rough, active, beautiful, energetic kids. I like to play golf. I love going to my kids soccer and baseball games. I enjoy time with my family. The tough mudder is an endurance race. It was over 12 miles and I completed it with my 61 year old father. He beat me by over an hour.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I believe the path suggested by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints leads to eternal life. I believe I can be with my family for eternity. I love the plain language of the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I believe that our Heavenly Father loves all of his children and that we have a Prophet on the earth today. I am a Mormon because of the countless times in my life that the spirit has testified to me of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith. I am a Mormon because of peace I feel when singing Hymns in church. I continue to be a Mormon because of the freedom that comes with living the commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily as a husband, father, hometeacher, and member. I talk openly to my friends about my church if the topic comes up. Most people I know know that I am a Mormon. I hope that they get a good idea of what that means by observing me and my family.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Personal belief. A specific belief in a certain doctrine. Testimony does not stay stagnant, it is either growing stronger or languishing. I have received a testimony of different parts of the gospel in different times of my life. Most recently my testimony of Fasting was strengthened when my 11 and 9 year old boys participated in a fast for their injured Grandmother.  Show more Show less
