Hi I'm Zach

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I enjoy playing soccer, reading and listening to music. I have a passion for woodcarving, archery and spending time with my family, friends, and my dog.I'm attending school in Utah, living away from family for the first time, which has been hard. I planning on becoming a doctor, at this point, though I figure that will probably change as I continue to study. I've lived in numerous countries, moving around every few years. This has given me a love of travel and experiencing new cultures as well as meeting new people and making friends anywhere and everywhere I go.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but didn't gain my own personal testimony till I was about 12 years old. I was living in South America, and my family was having a hard time adjusting to the new lifestyle. While going through those challenges I learned and gained a testimony that the church is the same around the world. I was able to learn and grow despite the language barriers I faced. I know that this Church is true and that no matter what challenges you faced that with the help of those members around you can overcome any challenge.

How I live my faith

I love serving, and the Church has given me opportunities everywhere to do that. I love the chance I get to visit those in my ward, to talk to them and see if I can help them, or get the help I need. I've recently gotten involved in some genealogy work, which has become a blessing in my life, as I am able to build those connections, not just for my family, but for others to find and build upon as well. My calling is to help others in my ward do indexing, and to motivate the ward in that area.
