Hi I'm Adam

I'm a mechanical engineer. I love music and being outside. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I finished a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have been designing medical devices for the last two years. I love being outside and trying new things that challenge me. I like hiking, camping, rock climbing, rappelling, and canyoneering. I started playing the violin when I was five years old and the piano when I was eight. I enjoy learning new songs and writing some of my own songs. I also enjoy trying out and learning other instruments. I like being around people and making new friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church. My family went to church every week and we read the scriptures. When I was a teenager, I wanted to know that the church was true for myself. I read the Book of Mormon again and prayed to ask Heavenly Father if it was true. I felt a great feeling of peace and happiness. I knew that living by the principles of the church would continue to help me feel peace. I went on a mission to Rome, Italy. I was able to talk to people in their language about the church and the Gospel for two years. As I met people who embraced the Gospel and used it to better their lives, it became more clear in my mind that Heavenly Father loves His children and He is still actively engaged in our lives if we let Him. I saw the atonement become a powerful influence in their lives. As I continue through life, the Gospel has continued to give me peace.

How I live my faith

This year, I have made a goal of focusing on knowing Christ better. As I read the scriptures, I look for ways that I can apply them to my life and be better. Doing this has helped me to feel His love for me more often and have more strength to be good. I do my best to serve others and help them to be happy.
