Hi I'm Brett

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happliy married to my college sweetheart. We are the happy parents of five wonderful children. I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Michigan -- Go Blue!. We currently live near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I love to go on dates with my wife, play with my kids, coach my kids soccer teams, read and play racquetball

Why I am a Mormon

Even though My family has been in the church for several generations, as a teenager I took the decision to make a lifelong commitment to the church very seriously. After studying the Bible and Book of Mormon, I prayed and asked Heavenly Father if the Church was true, and if I should continue in the path my parents and grandparents had followed. The Holy Ghost witnessed to me that the things I had been taught were the truth. I have had many similar experiences as I have learned more about God's plan for me and as I have tried to live my life the best I can. As I have done so, I have felt the power of the Grace of Jesus Christ improve every aspect of my life.

How I live my faith

When I was baptized I committed to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. I live my faith by trying to do what He would do, whether it's coaching children playing soccer, or working in the chemistry lab. The more I try to live His commandments the happier I am. A particular focus in my life is to share that happiness with my children. Not just through the things I teach them, but also through my example, in how I approach the good and the bad times with faith.
