Hi I'm Duffy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young professional working in market research and getting my MBA. I have a wonderful wife, awesome dog and no kids yet. I love snowboarding, wakeboarding, golfing, and trying to be handy around the house. Oh, and I can play a mean game of scrabble.

Why I am a Mormon

My family introduced me to the church and were wonderful examples of blessings made possible by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a teenager I inquired through prayer if the things I heard at church and read in the scriptures were true. I received an answer to my prayer that let me know my Heavenly Father loved me and would comfort me as I lived the Gospel. I continue to receive answers to my prayers and guidance from my Heavenly Father that help me to know that He loves me and wants me to be happy and I know that learning and following the Savior Jesus Christ will bring me and my family eternal joy.

How I live my faith

In the church, I help with the administrative tasks for the leaders in our local congregation. I also visit with other members and help out whenever possible. I've found I'm happier when I'm doing things for others and love doing so in the church. I also seek to learn more about the gospel through reading the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and other revelations from modern day prophets. I attend church meetings where I can discuss gospel principles and further understand how to apply gospel principles in real situations.
