Hi I'm Pam

I am a mother of 2 wonderful women, a wife of a great man and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 2nd of 7 children, born to an active family in the church. My parents taught me from a young age the value of right and wrong and to trust in the Lord in all things. I used that knowledge when I went to college, met my husband and started our family. I love reading books, playing the piano especially the hymns, traveling and talking to my family on the phone. I am blessed with two fabulous daughters and one son-in-law who are a great example to me. My husband, Tim, of 30 years is my best friend. I have moved around a lot in my life and when asked, "are you worried about finding friends and establishing yourself in a new area?" The answer is, "No!" Wherever I move, I have instant friends of the same faith and values, friends & new family in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a Mormon at birth, baptized at age 8, but converted at the age of 17. I spent some personal time studying the gospel and praying and received my own testimony of the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and of the Book of Mormon. What a great feeling is to have that knowledge and I have never doubted it since. I am proud to be a Mormon

How I live my faith

Wow, that can be a challenging question at times, How do I live my faith? I may have received by testimony early, but that is not to say it hasn't been challenged over the years. My life has had its bumps in the road, but what holds me in place is my testimony. I attend Sunday services, I fulfill the callings given to me, I pray ALL the time, and have faith that the Lord will guide me in all my decisions, if I ask AND then listen. I love reading the Book of Mormon and about the great people in those pages. Listening to inspirational music is another way that I live my faith - taking time to listen calms me down and lets the spirit enter in. The thing I try to do most though to live my faith - knowing that people will look at me and watch me, so I try to be a good representative of the Lord.
