Hi I'm Jose

Born in Mexico, studied chemical engineering, want to solve the worlds energy and environmental problems, I'm a Mormon

About Me

Having graduated from college as a chemical engineer, I saw the need to help others understand the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason, I decided to serve a mission to invite others to learn of what truly makes me feel happy and fulfilled in life. Now, I've returned from my mission to Idaho with a deeper understanding and determination to live a life that pleases God, and in the near future, have a family of my own to share that with.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God has revealed it to me that this is the path that I must take for me and my posterity. Through my personal experience in obeying God's commandments and reading the Book of Mormon along with the Bible, in a very special and intimate way, God has confirmed that this is what I must be, a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Keeping all the commandments of God is not easy, but I know that's the only way I can be happy in this world. Prayers is also a principal part of how I live my religion. I have grown to understand that prayer is the passport to receive God's peace and guidance, there is no part of life that we wouldn't want God's help and opinion. I can understand his will through faithful prayer. Going about doing good is how Jesus Christ lived, and that's how we must be. When I participate in unplanned and random acts of kindness towards another person, I can feel my spirit grow, and I can also feel God's Spirit with me.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Jose
The best way to learn about the Mormon Church is to speak to someone that is a member of the church. If you have a friend or acquaintance that is a Mormon, ask them questions, and they will be happy to tell you their own experience. God cares about us individually, and many times he will meet our needs through others.   Show more Show less
