Hi I'm Jay Dee Miller

I love sports and mountain dew and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 21 year old young male who just got off a two year mission in the Philippines. I am the second to oldest in my family of 5 siblings, however I am the oldest sibling alive because my older sister passed away when she was 8 months old. I love my family and they mean the world. My two youngest siblings are both handicapped with a rare disease called microsephally which my older sister also had. The disease is so rare that my family is the only family in the whole world that has 3 children with this disease. I guess it is pretty rare to have 2 autistic people in one family let alone 3. But let me tell you I wouldn't change it for the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that it is true. It's as simple as that. Also because it gives you a sense to your life. Why I am here and what my purpose is. Also it brings peace everyday into a world full of destruction and corruption that gets more and more wicked as the days go by. It was a great blessing to be raised in a predominantly mormon community. Something I want for my children when the time comes that I have them. The family is the main focus of the mormon religion and it binds my wonderful family now together. Not just for the time being but well....for eternity. I couldn't ask for anything more than that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. One of my favorite quotes is by the apostle Richard G. Scott. He said "In order to become what you want to be you have to be what you want to become every day." I will admit I'm not the best at this but it is my goal. I basically try to stand as a witness of God and an example to others at all times in all things in all places. And it has changed my life forever.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Jay Dee Miller
God wrote the book of mormon. If you want to know if it's true read it and pray about it. Thats what I did and I got my answer. It's true just like the bible is. A lot of people don't believe in the book of mormon but that's because they have never read it and prayed about it. You have to take that step of faith and try. And just like the scriptures promise. You will receive your answer. Show more Show less
