Hi I'm Suzanne

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Arizona, graduated from ASU..go Sun Devils...got tired of the heat! Moved to Vancouver WA.. Now in GA!

About Me

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner in Georgia. I enjoy ice skating. I like going to Adult Skating week in Lake Placid yearly. I do not get to skate enough. When I lived in the Portland OR area, I was involved in an adult skating club and also skated with an all ladies precision team. My children are all grown and I have 2 in college at this time. Although I work fulltime as a Nurse Practitioner, I am looking forward to retiring with my husband, going on a mission and doing some traveling. Maybe our mission will involve helping in medical areas as my husband is a physician assistant and is proficient in public health issues. We have done many volunteer projects involving medicine and preparedness.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was a young child, so I was raised in the LDS faith. I had to develop my own testimony as a young adult. My parents gave me that foundation of which I am eternally grateful to them. My first marriage was to a non-member. It was very rocky and I was divorced 3 yrs later. It was after the divorce that I realized that I would only find happiness being married in the temple to a worthy man. I found that worthy man, shared my testimony and goals, he was baptized and we were sealed in the temple a year and half later. We have a wonderful family that is sealed to us for time and eternity.

How I live my faith

I try to read my scriptures daily and pray often. I am always asking for help in my life and the lives of my immediate and extended family. I wonder how anyone in this life cannot think they need guidance from heaven? I need it constantly. I try to live worthy to have the inspiration of the Holy Ghost with me. That is by keeping the commandments and covenants I have made with the Lord. I so appreciate being able to attend the temple and receive blessings from on high. I share my beliefs with my friends that are not of the same faith that I am. There are wonderful people in this world. I want to share the knowledge I have with them.
