Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Lacrosse Coach, I'm a Creative Computer Geek, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in beautiful Colorado, I am now in Utah finishing my degree at Brigham Young. I played lacrosse for 4 years for BYU, winning a National Championship my senior year. I have changed my passion from playing lacrosse to coaching lacrosse. Coaching at the Collegiate level challenges and pushes me as much as playing ever did. Married for almost 4 years, I love to hang with my cool wife Victoria. Hiking, Putt-Putt Golf, Scooter rides, and Xbox take up the majority of my free time.

Why I am a Mormon

It's been tough at times to be Mormon. The biggest thing I always came back to was my life is always better and more fulfilling when I am living by the teachings of the LDS faith. As I continued to build on that small bit of faith, I gained a testimony of other parts of the Gospel. It didn't come all at once, and I don't think I am all the way there yet, but bit by bit my testimony is growing of the truthfulness of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I'm the kind of person who need inspiration every day to keep moving forward. Reading from the conference talks from previous years has been a constant reminder for me of my potential and the benefits of living life the right way. I am certainly a work in progress, but my goal is to make the lives of those around me better. Whether it's the kid's I coach in lacrosse, or friends and coworkers, I am working to be a positive influence in their lives. I get the chance to work with over 1 thousand kids each summer in various lacrosse camps and my goal is for those kids to walk away with a good example of the balance of competitive spirit and compassion. Being a role model is huge for me.
