Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a mother, a wife, a teacher, a mentor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Idaho. I've been married for almost ten years to a wonderful man and been blessed with three beautiful, energetic boys. I teach high school online, and look forward to returning to the brick-and-mortar classroom when my children are older. My dream is to be a college professor. I enjoy reading a good book, participating or watching sports, and playing the piano. I have come to the conclusion that I am not crafty, but I do enjoy a little sewing and cooking. I also love camping, hiking, and flyfishing, and am happiest out in nature with my family. My husband and I have big dreams of traveling the world someday. I come from a great family. My father was a convert to the church, and my mother has ancestors who were pioneers. I am proud of my heritage and am grateful to belong to an eternal family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. My testimony came gradually, but I was blessed with great faith. I've experienced many trials, and my faith and knowledge has helped me through those experiences. I think of the many challenges and obstacles I've faced as going through a refiner's fire, to become better and stronger in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the adults Sunday School lessons in our congregation (or ward) on Sundays. It is very humbling because many times I feel inadequate to teach those who may have more gospel knowledge than myself. I rely on their participation, preparation of the lesson materials, and the guidance of the Spirit to help me teach. I also serve as a visiting teacher to other sisters. I strive to daily live my faith as an example to others, and serve when or where I can.
