Hi I'm Brett

I'm that guy that lives day to day, but dreams of achieving something great. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a family. I love them so much. I grew up with 5 mothers. No i don't come from a polygamist family, I have 4 sisters ond one mom, but they have all influenced me in a motherly way at some point in my life. I played all sorts of sports growing up but eventually narrowed it down to basketball and running. The small city forces you to be creative with what you do in your spare time so we were always thinking of something new and exciting to do. I served a mission for two years and learned to give myself up to God. He changes you when you do that. Now I spend a lot of time still trying to give myself to him more and more each day. Jesus Christ, my, Family, the Gospel, and laughing are all a central part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

A huge contributor to why I am a Mormon has to do with the way it makes me fell. When I forget about it all then the feeling goes away. When I grow and nurture my faith by doing the small things like church and reading from the Book of Mormon the feeling remains. It's so real. That's what I have held on to through the good and the bad. Heavenly Father is real and the understanding and love is real too. That's why I am mormon. That's why I continue to do what I have been taught. Call it brain washing, but I call it reality.

How I live my faith

By changing. If I am required to be someone else, or do something else to become more like the Savior Jesus Christ then I try my best to do it. So different things come along in life that I try to accept or ignore depending on it's value. I try to serve in the church in all I can do from teaching a class, to moving someone on a late Friday night. I take it as it comes.
