Hi I'm David Mojica

I'm a Texan, I'm a student, and I'm a mormon

About Me

I was born in Mexico, but moved to Houston, Texas when I was 2 years old. I come from a family of 5 (my parents and 2 siblings). I was 1 out of about 15 Mormons in my school of about 5,000+ students. My hobbies are: latin dancing, paint balling, camping, playing sports, hanging out with friends, and much more. I'm currently studying business psychology at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. I just got engaged to the purest and most beautiful girl this world can have named Summer! She is my everything and has taught me so much! I am so blessed that God has allowed me to cross paths with her.

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to be born in the gospel, but born in it or not, I choose to live by the standards of the church simply because I have seen and lived the miracles and blessings which I have been given by God. It helps me get through adversity, it helps me understand who I am, where I come from, where I'm going, and how to return to the One who created us. There was a point in my life where I wasn't following those standards, and looking back I could feel a difference not having the Holy Ghost with me. It felt like a huge negative snow ball effect of bad things, but I'm really glad that I was still young enough to get my act together and focus on what truly matters. It was then that once again I could feel God's love and so peaceful inside no matter the chaos going on in the world. Finally, I'm a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has testified to me that the Book of Mormon is true, and that through Jesus Christ, and only through Him may we truly find eternal happiness and be saved.

How I live my faith

It's pretty simple yet also hard to do, I live my faith by simply following the example of Jesus Christ. I think the best way to live my faith is to not be overbearing on anyone. Know one likes self-righteous person who likes to impose their faith on anyone. My way of living my faith is through inviting, when people know that they can trust me, and that I am an honest person who strives to love others without judging unrighteously then through those friendship can I help them in the good times and bad times.
