Hi I'm Ryan Murphy

I'm a physical therapist and outdoors enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

MY WORK: I am physical therapist who specializes in geriatric rehabilitation and working with older adults in their homes. MY FAMILY: I celebrated 11 years of marriage to the love of my life this past December and we are raising a boy who is nearly 10 years old. MY INTERESTS: I enjoy cooking, including freezing homemade ice cream with a hand-cranked maker and an old-fashion custard recipe, spending time outdoors, and I particularly look forward to big-game hunting in the fall.

Why I am a Mormon

God and Jesus Christ have given us a light and beacon with a solid foundation to help us in a changing and confusing world. Within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is found continued guidance from God to his Prophet and Apostle leaders in the same manner he blessed his children in biblical times. This guidance has brought me closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and blesses me with peace, happiness, protection, and direction in my life.

How I live my faith

In general I love to do a lot of the regular guy stuff including eating, driving 4x4 trunks, shooting guns, and snowboarding powder slop's, however, because of my faith I have chosen to live in a manner which brings me closer to God. I pray privately and with my family, read and study the scriptures, and honor the Sabbath day as a day of rest and worship. I also refrain from drinking alcohol, using foul language, and viewing unwholesome forms of media. This manner of living has blessed my life with physical protection, good health, and a clear mind to excel in my educational and career pursuits.
