Hi I'm Jodie

I'm a military wife, mother of two and a graduate student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to an active duty Marine and have two young children. My career is in healthcare, but I have spent most of the last 5 years as a stay at home mom. I am currently a part-time graduate student in an online program. Our family has moved around a lot and being the new people in town can be a little overwhelming sometimes. Seeking out the church family helps so much. I am greatly enjoying my ward since our family is so far away.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted when I was 15. As I learned the gospel, I realized that the feelings I was having as I learned were like no other feelings I had ever felt. This was my answer. Following the gospel and allowing the spirit to lead your heart will bring happiness. The principles are very simple, charting a course to follow them is more challenging, and that is why we must rely on our Savior to bridge our gaps. I have a testimony of this gospel, it's truth and the strength that it brings to our lives. All we have to do is ask.

How I live my faith

I attend church services and counsel with others to find ways to fellowship new or visiting members. I try to regularly study the scriptures and teach my children the importance of living the gospel.
