Hi I'm Marty Stafford

I grew up in Virginia. Sherry and I are the proud parents of three children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the father of three children. I enjoy most any sports and especially those my children participate in. We love vacations, time at home together, and meeting new people. We garden, play golf and like to read good books. We love annual trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I stay busy as a father, a commercial appraiser, and serving at church.

Why I am a Mormon

I learned the mormon faith as a young boy in Virginia. We loved the fellowship and activities for families and especially for youth. Through the years I have appreciated the importance of commandments and the blessings from living a good life. I feel good when I follow the example of the Savior. I love the teachings of the church about Jesus Christ. He loves us and showed us the way to live. I see the importance of living a good life, not only for myselft, but for my children. In a world of many distractions, addictions, and trouble, the teachings of the church help us to live so we can be truly happy. It has helped me to be a better person, husband and father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and participating. I try to be a good neighbor. I try to be honest in my business and fair to everyone. We make our home a friendly place. We show respect and love to each other, adults and children. We make plenty of mistakes but are trying to be forgiving and do better each day.
