Hi I'm Steven

My name is Steven. I live in Utah. I'm an EMT and future firefighter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served my mission in South Africa. I'm a junior in college, working towards a degree in Emergency Services. I'm engaged. Hobbies include reading, learning, bass guitar, playing super nintendo and N64, listening to rock music, and spending time with my friends and fiancee.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is the only true church upon the face of the earth. I know this because I went to the source of all truth God and asked him through prayer. Since that initial confirmation given through the Holy Ghost, Heavenly Father has given me many many more confirmations that this is right and this is true. This gospel means everything to me and I'll tell you why. I am an imperfect man. I sin, and have some major struggles with some things in life. These struggles cause me pain and heartache. I cling tightly to the gospel with everything I have because it gives me peace and hope it gives me the hope that someday through the Atonement of Christ I won't have to struggle anymore.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday morning I teach a missionary preparation class for future missionaries. After class I go to church, which means that every Sunday I am blessed to have about five hours of church every week. I read my scriptures daily and pray constantly. I go home teaching once a month. But above all the normal things the biggest way I live my faith is by trying to be an example for others to follow and seeking opportunities to strengthen and help others, whether it be spiritually or temporally.
