Hi I'm Jeff

I am an electronics technician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have three grown children. I was born and raised in California. I did one 4-year term in the US Air Force 1976-80. I have worked in the field of Automation/Controls in Commercial buildings for the past 31 years. I like electronics and computers. I like target shooting with my 9mm Ruger hand gun. I am a conservative constitutionalist sometimes refered to as Tea Party and I love my country.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1986 I married a Mormon girl. Between her family and the families in the Ward we attended, I knew raising our children in the Church would be the best thing we could do for them. I joined the Church 6 months after we married. At first I only hoped that the Church was true. Through Faith and obedience to Heavenly Fathers commandments I have received a testimony that the teachings of His church are true. I know Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. I know why we are here and where we are going after this life. It brings me joy and happiness knowing Heavenly Father is kind and loving being.

How I live my faith

Currently I am the Ward Mission Leader in our ward. I work closely with the full-time missionaries to help investigators and new members feel welcome. We try to have a member present each time the Missionaries teach a lesson to an investigator so that they will know somebody at church and feel more comfortable as they meet other members in the congregation. It is a marvelous experience to see peoples lives change as they accept the Gospel and become active members.
