Hi I'm Mike

I was born in California and lived there most of my life. I'm a Mormon. I now live in Arizona and love it.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman and have six beautiful children. Most of them are grown and away at college or have families of their own. I work with technology and enjoy traveling with my wife when we can get away from our daily activities.  I love having grown children, but I miss them when they live far away. I also miss my Grandchildren very much. I enjoy talking to them on the phone and love to see them on Skype or in videos sent by their parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, but was able to choose my path as a child and as an adult. I enjoy my faith and feel like I am a better person than I would have been without the church. I am so grateful I have had the structure of church to help raise my children and advice from a living prophet on how best to live my life and avoid the pitfalls of bad choices and unhealthy living.

How I live my faith

I find joy and happiness in reading the scriptures and other uplifting material. I enjoy being a father and believe it is the most important role I have in my life. I take very seriously the commitment I made to my wife and family to live in such a way that we can have joy in this life and avoid the pain of bad choices.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Mike
My experience with Mormon Missionaries is that they share information about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They talk about the Church established by the Savior with twelve apostles and how important a Prophet is to the Saviors people. They talk about the falling away from the church discussed in the New Testament. They also talk of the authority being returned to man through a young man who was called on by God and Jesus Christ to build the kingdom of God once again on the earth. They talk of Christ's visit to America and the record of people who lived on the American continent from 600 BC to 400 AD and their dealings with the Lord Jesus Christ. The frequently will extend an invitation to ask questions and if you want to learn more, they will teach you all about the Gospel and the Priesthood of God on the earth today. About what God has said to us through living Prophets and what a blessing that is to all of mankind. Show more Show less
