Hi I'm Bart

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I work for the American Red Cross. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a young man during the 80's I served a LDS church mission in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Upon returning from my mission I married my wife Pennie in the Salt Lake Temple and together become parents to 3 children of which our daughter who is the oldest was married at the Laie Temple in Hawaii a few years ago. I work for the American Red Cross as a Regional Director of Preparedness, Health & Safety Service for the state of Utah. I enjoy running and have participated in 10k's, Half Marathon's and Marathon's.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I believe the most important thing in life is our families and friends. The relationships we establish and the love we share as God's children is the only thing that really matters in life. As Mormon's we believe that families can be together forever. I cannot think of a better feeling than to know that if we follow Christ and keep God's commandants we will be reunited with loved ones that have already crossed the veil and live together forever in the presence of God and his Son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the Savior Jesus Christ's example on a daily basis by showing love and compassion for those around me. I am not perfect, but I am trying each day to improve by providing acts of service to those around me.
