Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a stay-at-home mom. I love running, painting and eating treats. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love blogging and taking photos of my husband and two kids; it helps me stop and appreciate the good in each day. As a mom there is nothing better to me than cuddling on the couch and reading a good book with my kids. I recently finished my first half marathon and would love to try a full marathon one of these days. I run so that I don't feel as guilty about indulging my sweet tooth! Chocolate chip cookies are my biggest weakness.

Why I am a Mormon

To put it simply, the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. I was raised in the Mormon faith and have prayed to know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly Christ's church on the Earth today. Reading the Book of Mormon, along with the Bible, confirms this to me all the time. I love the knowledge that I am married to my husband for eternity and not just "till death do you part." I love my little family so much that I want to be with them forever.

How I live my faith

On Sundays I teach the 14 and 15 year old girls at church. We learn about being honest, virtuous, and kind in a world that does not always practice these things. I teach them to draw closer to their Savior and rely on His strength. I try to live my faith every day through practicing what I teach my girls. I try to help others and be a good friend. I try to be a good mother to my kids and teach them to make good choices. That doesn't mean every day I am perfect at all of these things, but that's where the Savior's atonement comes in. Thanks to Him I can repent and try to be better each day.
