Hi I'm Chris

I'm from LA. I'm in the Air Force. I'm a "Mormon."

About Me

I grew up in a suburb of Los Angeles, California. My father is from Mexico and my mom from Argentina, though I was raised by just my mom and grandma mainly. I love all sorts of mixed martial arts. I did wrestling in high school, some mixed martial arts and have been doing boxing at my college. I love to make music too--on the guitar, singing, and anything really. I also love to read and write. I am currently studying management and really like anything relating to finance.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up this way, but it's not what has kept me this way. I feel that it is what has made the biggest difference. It's what makes me the happiest ultimately. I've seen the big contrast between the sadness that one can have in life and the happiness, all depending on choices. I know that as we make the best choices we will be happiest though that is a bit hard to pinpoint. I also know that the Book of Mormon, the Bible and the teachings of what many call the Mormon Church is what has helped me most to become a better person day by day. It is what has given me a clearer view of how I can be happy, and I haven't just been told that I have felt that as well.

How I live my faith

I just try to be as proactive and friendly as possible. I go and visit some of the members on a regular basis to make sure all is well. I also teach regularly at church which gives me a great opportunity to learn. I think it's a matter of day by day actively pursuing who you want to be though of course, we all fall short.
