Hi I'm Levi

I live in Northern Virginia. I have a wife and a nine month old son. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Ohio. I moved to Utah to go to college, and met my wife there. We were married almost 2 years ago, and moved to Virginia, where I work as an Air Traffic Controller. My son has spina bifida which is a birth defect of the spinal cord. He's paralized from the knees down, however, he is the happiest baby I have ever met.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both Mormon and their parents were also Mormon. I can trace my Mormon heritage back pretty far. So I grew up going to church every week and I got baptized when I was 8 years old. Many might think that that is the basis for why I'm Mormon...because my parents were. Well, that sure helped to start my testimony of the church, but it is not the basis for my testimony. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ because of the way that living the life of a Mormon makes me feel. I know that it is true because I know that the Book of Mormon is true because the Lord has told me so through His spirit. You can feel the truth of this Book when you read it. And anyone can know for their own self.

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday, where I have the opportunity to renew my covenants I made with the Lord at baptism. I also get to teach the men the doctrine of Jesus Christ through the scriptures for about an hour each Sunday. I'm a member of the choir, and we get together most Sunday mornings before church to practice. I was married in one of the Lords temples for time and all eternity and about once a month get to return where sacred ordinances are performed in our church. This has brought me great joy!
