Hi I'm Don

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Massachusetts. My wife and I have lived in Vermont for the last 35 years.

About Me

I celebrated my 80th birthday in December. I attribute my longevity to having joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints many years ago and to our health code " The Word of Wisdom"  I married my wife Roberta in 1956. We attended the same high school in Massachusetts. As a family we did many activities together. Camping, Archery, Square dancing, & Flying. We both had pilots licenses. We joined the LDS Church in a small branch in Virginia in 1977.

Why I am a Mormon

I beleive that Joseph Smith saw Jesus Christ and God the Father after He prayed to know what Church to join. He translated the book of Mormon from the gold plates he was given.

How I live my faith

When our small branch became large enough to become a ward I was made the first Bishop. I was able with the help of much prayer to help our Ward grow.
