Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a wife, mom, and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mom of two, and a Registered Nurse. I've lived in three countries and five States, and currently reside in New Jersey. I enjoy reading, taking walks, traveling, and going to the park with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of Mormons. My ancestors were early members of the Church and passed on their legacy of faith through the generations in my family. I grew up in the Church, but I also had to find out for myself that it was true. I can still remember the feeling of peace through the Spirit that the Book of Mormon was true when I was 15 years-old. I have tried to build on that faith over the years. I still receive a confirmation of the truthfulness of Christ's Gospel when I earnestly pray or read His words.

How I live my faith

I teach the 3 and 4 year-olds at church. We learn about Jesus, the Creation of the world, and about all the wonderful blessings He has given us. At home, we have Family Night once a week - where we talk about simple Gospel subjects with our kids, like being kind, sharing, or the scriptures. We always sing songs and play fun games, too. We also read the Book of Mormon as a family each night, having our 4 year-old repeat back the words to a verse of scripture.
