Hi I'm Landon

I play handball and frisbee golf. I am a biology major hoping to go to medical school in 2014.

About Me

I've played piano for most of my life and started college as a piano performance major. I switched to pre-med and love human physiology. My wife is pregnant with our first child and I am soon to be a daddy. Woo hoo! I recently started crocheting as a hobby.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel direction. I feel satisfied studying science. I feel clean. I feel loved.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the words of the scriptures every day and then trying to live their teachings. I lived in an international dorm at college and where I gave copies of the Book of Mormon to my friends in Chinese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and English. I wrote individualized testimonies in each of their languages (thanks to returned missionary friends that could translate for me). I have a Chilean friend who's read and prayed about the Book of Mormon, has participated in church activities, has gone to church with me, and is currently learning about the church with the missionaries. Within a short period of time, he already feels it is true! I share what I share with people because it's helped me know how much Christ loves me which is a wonderful feeling.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Landon
Wards, stakes, and branch are names to arrange the people in your area where you live into congregations. A branch is a small ward A branch I went to in Texas had about 40-60 people at church every week. A stake consists of various branches and/or wards. Show more Show less
