Hi I'm Jed

I love the outdoors, being with my family and reading and writing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended Weber State University and Arizona State University. I enjoy riding my bikes, whether road or mountian. I enjoy playing golf with my friends. I also like to read books. My favorite and most satisfying hobby is being with my wife and family. I love being a dad to my 5 children. They are everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon, but learned early that I could not rely on my parents testimony, so I studied and learned and gained a testimony independent of anyone else, I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Why I am a Mormon? Because I have felt the embracing arms of my Saviors love wrapped around me in my time of need. That embrace gives me happiness, warmth, peacefulness, I would not and do not want to live without. I know my Savior lives, but it is only there when I pray, read the scriptures and attend my church meetings, striving to do what is right. I know and have felt when the embrace is taken away.

How I live my faith

I try to chose the right and be a good example.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No, Joseph Smith is a prophet, just like Moses was a prophet. Joseph Smith restored the full gospel of Jesus Christ back to the earth. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Take a look around. God is everywhere. I am absolutely amazed of those who denies the existences of a creator. Our bodies are God's crowning creation. They work perfectly for us. Everything about our bodies are compact and put together to work perfectly in our environment, what we eat, the air we breathe, how we communicate one to another. Our bodies are the perfect evidence that there is a God. Others can think we crawled out of a swamp, made the complex organism out the the simple organism, but you are wrong. Show more Show less
