Hi I'm Randall

Because of my job I have traveled to many places in the world and met great people. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a professional helicopter pilot. I have flown on three different continents, in mountains, plains, and deserts. I have parachuted out of, flown, and jumped out helicopters in my life. In all the things I have done, nothing has brought me more pride or excitement than watching my three wonderful children make good choices and grow. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife a great family and people who love and support me. In my spare time I enjoy many hobbies to include camping, hiking, running, sports, reading, and home repair and improvement.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to grow up surrounded by those with a strong belief in Jesus Christ. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have the great chance to share my faith in Jesus Christ with others. In my travels around the world I have seen many people in need of God's help. I have also been blessed to see many people blessed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that you can be blessed too. If you want to know how - the first step is simple. Believe. Believe that there is a God. If you don't know how to believe then that is simple too. Have hope that there is. Then pray to Him and ask. I know He will answer. He answered me. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different capacities in my church, as a missionary, a teacher, a leader, and a follower. I currently serve with the young men of the church, and also participate in scouting with them. My sons are Eagle Scouts and one will soon be serving a mission for the Church. I find great joy in watching the young men that I am blessed to work with grow and develop into men who follow Christ. I am just like anyone else. I am not perfect. Every day, just like anyone, I am challeged to live my faith and be an example of it. How do I do it? One day at a time. It starts in the morning with prayer. It ends at night with a report to my Heavenly Father on how the day has been. Added are reading Heavenly Father's words for us every day - the Scriptures. Despite this, every day I make mistakes. I just hope that todays mistakes aren't as big as yesterdays. When I make a mistake but sincerely try to change, I know that the Savior's atonement will allow me to overcome the mistake and become a better man. In doing this, every day I draw a little closer to becoming the man that I know my Savior expects me to be. I know that you can become the person that Heavenly Father expects you to be too. All you have to do is start by praying a little every day.
