Hi I'm Hoyt

Graduated from a class of 11. Love basketball and volleyball. Enjoy gardening. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a hospital administrator. I enjoy basketball and volleyball. I am a hobby gardener. I am a father of two and have been happily married to my sweetheart for over 20 years!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I believe that he has restored His church in its fullness through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I believe that Jesus Christ leads this church today through living prophets and apostles as He did in times of old. I believe that we are children of our Heavenly Father who loves us wants us to be truly happy. The doctrines and standards of this church have helped me to avoid unhappiness and have led me to be completely at peace and full of joy. When I lie on the grass and look at the stars I know that I have been blessed with the knowledge of where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. I encourage you to read The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ so that you understand where we get the knickname "Mormon". For that reason, which I hope you discover through reading, I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my fatih by reading the scriptures and praying daily. By showing my wife and children that they are the priority of my life and the greatest source of my happiness. By being honest in all my interactions and by giving an honest day's labor for my wage. By serving in my community and befriending all I come in contact with. By attending our sacrament meeting each Sunday morning to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. By visiting assigned families of my church to encourage, support and assist them. I especially value spending time teaching and encouraging youth in all of their worthy activities.
