Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a husband, father, artist and musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been led back to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Being raised by righteous parents, and even after growing up in the church, I needed to find my own path. The Holy Ghost has guided me at all times and I have been blessed with a beautiful family who trust in God and have faith that amazes me each day. I am a broadcast motion graphics artist and a television director along with being a life long career drummer I have been blessed with many talents from my Heavenly Father, and the drive to be constantly creating in whatever form that might take. One of my greatest blessings came from serving as a missionary in Argentina, and being able to serve a wonderful and loving people truly changed by life.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a disciple of Jesus Christ means to try to live like Him, to have faith, hope and charity in a world the opposes many of His teachings more each day. To stand blameless before God at the last day and meet my Savior face to face knowing that I made a difference, not just in a temporal way but in an eternal way -- beyond this earthly life. There is something greater that all the world has to offer. When career, material wealth and praise of the world fade, I want to be accountable for that love that I showed my family, my neighbors and the peace that only serving Heavenly Father's children can bring. I wanted to raise a family of honorable children, who individually know who they are as children of God, who could go out into the world to spread the gospel by their examples and how they live. There is so much more than what the world can offer, so much greater beauty, love and future that allows us to become more than we can even imagine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my home most of all. The love and friendship I feel with my family is the most important and gratifying feelings on the earth. My family is everything, and when we kneel in prayer each day together and read the scriptures when we can for a few moments each night I feel like this is the most important work I can do here. My life is complete to see my children grow and wife's love extended to those she serves unconditionally. Each day is a journey of faith, a challenge to see how we can grow, learn, make mistakes and understand how to overcome those mistakes and become better and more like Christ as we do so.  I know that when I am out serving others and sharing the good news that is the gospel of Jesus Christ, that it is the happiness that transcends all. Each Sunday it all comes together. The love and friendship I feel in our church is familiar and comforting, and even though we all make mistakes and have much to learn, it is the one place where we can humble ourselves learn how to overcome the difficulties of life, show love to others and strengthen ourselves for the week to come. As difficult as it is to travel to church sometimes, I have always found that I am glad I went and am better for it.
