Hi I'm Clarence

I'm a dreamer, I'm a writer, I'm a lover of music, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town. I am the youngest of my family. I love learning and I love people. when i was Fifteen I went to college. I studied a lot of things from Biotechnology to film. at one point i wanted to be an author of books. (and secretly i still do.) but at the moment I am going to school to be a Criminal Psychologist. I love music, but i can't play a note myself. I like to hike, play sports and act like fool from time to time. I also am a big fan of movies and well said statements.

Why I am a Mormon

I think the why and how are intertwined. I grew up in the church, which simply means that my parents knew the church was true. I had to find out for myself if it was true. Some might say that I did it the hard way. But I believe that it happened the way it did for a reason. When I was ten my parents got divorced and when I was about 14-15 my mom was diagnosed with cancer. At that time in my life I don't think I really knew what I believed. I was trying to figure things out. Religion and god weren't really important to me. All my brothers and sisters were inactive so it was easy so to stop going to church or doing things like that. My change came with the help of some friends. They were people who became my family. I remember that I never really seriously prayed in my life. I prayed sometimes but I never really thought about what I should say. one night depressed and irritated I just asked, "father are you there." my answer was peace. All feelings of fear, hate, or worry left me. A few years after that I finally read the book of Mormon. I am a Mormon, a member of this church because I know that it is the church god has established. God is the author of peace and he writes it upon our souls as if it were a blank page. This church is true and i cannot nor will I deny it.

How I live my faith

I live it by who i am and how i act in all places, at all times. It is in my thoughts, my words, and my actions. There is no one thing you can do to live the gospel, it is a part of who you are. You devote yourself to Christ because you love him and you love your fellow brothers and sisters.
