Hi I'm Whitney.

I love being creative. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 24 years old and have been married for almost 3 years. I graduated in 2009 with degree in Studio Arts. I love being creative and also enjoy exercising, blogging, cooking, reading classic novels, thrift shopping, and spending time with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family and I am forever grateful for the faith and devotion of my wonderful parents. Through their example, commitment to their covenants, their testimonies, and the spiritual routines they established early on in our home, my parents taught my siblings and I the importance of the gospel and the blessings that can come from righteous living. I have had a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ever since I can remember. I trusted my parents and even as a young child I always knew that our family was so blessed because of our efforts to live according to gospel standards and principles. My conversion was not one single event, but has been a continual process over the course of my entire life. And I believe my "conversion" will continue to grow and deepen as I consistently make an effort to increase my knowledge, understanding, and testimony of the Savior and His teachings. Being a member of this church has given me direction and purpose in my life. My faith in the Savior and in Heavenly Father's plan for each of His children has brought me peace and is a continual source of strength for me in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my personal life by reading the scriptures, praying and communicating to my Father in Heaven, keeping a journal, keeping our home a clean and comfortable place to invite the spirit, and making an effort to attend the temple regularly. My husband and I don't have children of our own yet, but we are establishing good habits now so that we can be prepared when the Lord sees fit to give us that wonderful blessing.
