Hi I'm Chantel Tripp

I'm a Mormon, a photographer, and a dreamer.

About Me

I'm a Wedding & Portrait Photographer! I love sports running, basketball, and volleyball. I'm addicted to Ragnar Relays I looove times with my family and friends. I love the movies, going on adventures, and eating cold stone ice cream!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church my parents were a huge influence through their example and guidance of my decision to live the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've always felt that the gospel is exactly what I need in my life. I know fully and completely that it is the only true church on the earth today. I love Savior and his constant, guiding and comforting spirit in my life. I love that I can wake up every day and see so much opportunity in the world. I love that I can always know that through prayer and the scriptures I can be guided to decisions I cannot make on my own. I love that I can be completely at peace and love the blessings of the gospel, the excitement of the world's opportunities, and the interaction with those around me as I continue to grow through Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday. It is the day I can completely dedicate my time to the Savior. I try during the week to focus on the Savior as much as possible, but Sunday is an amazing refresher to re-commit ourselves to loving the Lord, recognizing blessings, and re-dedicating ourselves to gospel-living. I read my scriptures each night and let the Lord talk to me through stories and experiences of those faithful members in the past. I pray constantly. Morning, night, mid-day, in the car, in the shower, while I'm walking in to a store, I constantly need the guidance and comfort of the Lord. "A prayer always in my heart..." I definately took that scripture to heart!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Chantel Tripp
Honestly?...It's amazing! Once you truly let yourself understand and open your mind to the teaching of the Latter-Day Saint church, you realize how much the purpose of everything is for our greater happiness. I've always been an active member of the church, but I definately saw some aspects as 'restricting' and 'stupid rules'. But as I've grown, as I've been through new experiences, and as I've see the experiences of others I see how truly liberating the gospel is. I love the gospel because each and every commandment benefits me fully and completely. I am healthier physically, mentally, and spiritually. I never have to worry about diseases caused by harmful drugs and liquids...I follow the Word of Wisdom. I never have to worry about making a difficult decision on my own...I have prayer, the scriptures, and church-leaders. I never have to feel unsettled and wonder "Is this the right thing for me right?" "Is this where I should be going in my life?" "Is this the place I should live?" "Is this the school I should attend?'...I have the Lord's spirit to comfort me as I ask and pray for an answer of guidance and peace. The 2 words that mean the most to be as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are hope and peace. So, what is the Mormon lifestyle?...one of a vastness of hope and incredible peace. Show more Show less
