Hi I'm Jaron Wardle

I'm a Mormon, and I love it! Why? It's the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I just returned home from serving a mission for the church in March 2011. I served for 2 years mostly in the areas around Miami, Fl. I love to have fun and am a big soccer fan. I believe that you should never pass a day without laughing. Life is about being happy!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, that is a very good question. Back in my family lines you will find those who were looking for a new faith in Jesus Christ. They, like me, came to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's church on the earth. That has come for me through reading things such as the scriptures and the words of the living prophets, praying and asking, and keeping His commandments. As I have done those things, I have come to recognize the promptings of the Holy Ghost, and his little "whispers". Like I said, many years before I was born my ancestors came to know the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ in this church. I can say as they said before me that I have had questions, and feelings of emptiness filled by Jesus Christ and His eternal sacrifice. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and His divine mission. He is what it's all about.

How I live my faith

Well I try to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever I can. I believe that we should all live happily, for that reason I try to help others where I can. Other than that I study the scriptures daily, and I pray daily. Every Sunday I attend the meetings at church. Through those meetings I get a recharge of my spiritual batteries for the coming week. Heavenly Father always blesses us when we do what He wants us to do.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Jaron Wardle
Since I was a missionary, I could tell you what we usually did. We are called to invite others come unto Jesus Christ, to represent Him and help the individual fill those spiritual holes that we all have. So when we arrived at a home, we usually asked a few simple questions to get to know the person. Maybe something like "What are you expecting to gain from our visit today?" Those questions just helped us to know as representatives of Jesus Christ how to help that person. We come to Jesus Christ as we do that which He taught us. In the same way the missionaries will teach you and invite you to read from the scriptures, pray and develop a relationship with Heavenly Father through asking Him questions and thanking him, and how to keep other commandments that they will share with you. As you do these things, the Holy Ghost will tell you that these things are true through feelings of peace and security. Show more Show less
