Hi I'm Amy

I'm from Wisconsin. I am active in student government. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student in Wisconsin, studying Economics, I love reading and doing all sorts of art and craft projects

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church in March 2009 after reading about it online and visiting Mormon.org. I chatted with a missionary there, and then met two sister missionaries in my area, who helped me progress and move towards baptism and a real relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that a living prophet leads our church!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying in Wisconsin! Many of my friends go to school in Utah and Idaho, and I've stayed here, and it's been great telling other people who may not understand what being a Mormon means about my faith. Living my faith means that I try and be as honest as I can with my coworkers, my customers and other people I meet. Living my faith means giving of my time and my talents to help the Church here where I live.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Each one of us has sinned, and due to this, we cannot be with God - nothing we can do resolves this, except repentance and faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. We do what we can to be the best we can be, and Christ makes up the difference on our behalf. Each of us was destined to die for what we did, but Christ's sacrifice brings us eternal life - if that isn't grace, I don't know what is! Show more Show less
