Hi I'm Ru-Hsuan Ding

I was born in Taiwan. I like to share the gospel and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm quite person, but when I hang out with friends, I'm not. I like to play basketball and listen to music. I basically play every sport. I was in BYUH for 6 months and it's a wonderful place. I came to America when I was 18, and I went to Oregon to learn English for a year.

Why I am a Mormon

My parent are converts. They met the missionaries thirty something years ago and they met at the church. So basically, I was born and raised. However, when I was 16, I wondered what I really believed. I started to read scriptures more often and it helped me get to know our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. As I did these things, I felt the love from God and started to pray more because I know he answers prayer. I remembered I prayed to him and asked God if the Book of Mormon is true or not. I had a strong feeling from the spirit that gave me peace and comfort. I know we are here for a reason and through Jesus Christ's Atonement we can live with our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

For me, I just do what is right and keep pressing forward. When my faith is wavering, I always think of Jesus Christ and it gives me comfort all the time. Sometimes I fall short, but through Jesus Christ's Atonement I can repent and be born again. Whenever trials come, I view them as a growing process, and that keeps me going.
